The Chinoiserie decoration is probably not original and has been re-touched in the 20th century. The mirrors are probably also not original and the gold scroll work may be later or embellished, and re-gilt. Sturdy and attractive overall. Surface wear to the painted faux marble top in the form of nicks, scratches, minor instances of repair and loss to the paint layer and some warping and discoloration. Scattered tight age splits throughout.
