The shelves are fixed and cannot be adjusted. Sturdy, attractive condition overall; the decoration may have been refreshed in some areas, but is overall 18th century paint. There are some filled age cracks through the back boards and probably overpainting on one of the doors and the center of the base. Other small chips, scuffs and discolorations throughout are normal for age.
