A Georg Jensen Silver Four-Piece Tea and Coffee Service
Designed by Henning Koppel, Copenhagen, Mid 20th Century
pattern 1017, comprising a teapot, coffee pot, creamer and sugar, together with an associated COHR silver-plate tray.

Condition
Service in good, stable, attractive condition. The lids open and close smoothly and sit flush to body when closed. Very light surface scratches throughout consistent with age and use. The undersides with minor shelfwear. The COHR silver-plate tray with some scattered heavier surface scratches throughout consistent with contact to service items. One wood handle with a slightly lighter finish than the other. No other significant condition issue noted. Additional images available upon request.

During his decades of service in the US Navy, Capt. Hallett served in a diplomatic role at the US embassy in Moscow, as a Naval Assistant to both the Kennedy and Johnson White House staffs and as the commanding officer of the Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes.
