Condition
Each piece marked George Jensen and Sterling Denmark. The knives and one of the serving pieces with hollow sterling handles and stainless blades. In overall good condition. Scattered surface scuffs consistent with polishing and use. No pitting or areas of significant tarnish.

During his decades of service in the US Navy, Capt. Hallett served in a diplomatic role at the US embassy in Moscow, as a Naval Assistant to both the Kennedy and Johnson White House staffs and as the commanding officer of the Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes.
