An Attic Red-Figured Kylix
Attributed to the Tarquinia Painter, Circa 470-460 B.C.
Width 12 inches.
Condition
Repaired from many fragments with restoration throughout. Painted tondo and inscribed foot of the period. Modern sections include 30 percent of the rim, one handle, and a small segment of the stem. Infilling and overpaint typical to restoration. Minor losses to the original pigment and very minor possible enhancing of the black glaze.
