Two Blue and White Porcelain Vessels
QING DYNASTY (1644-1912)
清 青花西番蓮紋賞瓶及博古圖蓋罐
the first a vase of towering proportion, the body in the form of an inverse truncated coned narrowing at angled shoulders to a lipped neck and everted mouth rim. The body decorated with a primary frieze of radiant lotus heads between bands of petal lappets and crashing waves, the underside incised with a six-character mark. The smaller a slight jar decorated with underglaze blue and red to show a various antiques, the slightly everted mouth surmounted by a hardwood cover.

Condition
The tall vase in overall good condition; the smaller jar has small chip and several short hairlines along the mouth rim, and pitting to the glaze, otherwise it is in good condition.
