Height 18 x width 13 3/4 x depth 5 inches.
Property from the Estate of Jules and Gwen Knapp, Glencoe, Illinois
Condition
The case is in overall fair condition with a strong and fairly consistent gilt patina throughout. Few areas of tarnish or residue to recesses. Each cylinder takes a wind, but the clock is lacking a pendulum and winding key, so uncertain of the effectiveness of the mechanism. The bell chime is replaced. The dial shows a few hairlines and small fret losses to the opening for each winding cylinder. The decorative urns on either side of the case are slightly loose, one of the urns is lacking a leg for the stand and the circular stretcher is detached from the feet. A few screws are replaced.
