With a winding key and pendulum. The clock may be overwound. The hands can be manually advanced and the hammer strikes the bell at the hour and half hour. Runs briefly when the pendulum is set in motion; the hands can be seen advancing but then the pendulum stops after a minute or so. Has not been inspected by a horologist or tested for timekeeping accuracy. The overall appearance is attractive and the clock and urns are in stable condition. The urns and clock are "married." Old cracks, chips and repairs visible to the marble base of the clock.
