A Pair of French Opaline Glass Three-Light Sconces with Cut Glass Hurricane Shades
Late 19th Century
each having a bronze backplate with cased glass arms, light-green opaline cups with gilt decoration and hanging prisms.
Height 20 x width 15 1/2 inches.

Condition
Each in overall fine condition.  Hurricane shades are free of any chips, nicks or cracks, though there are few small inclusions or manufacturers flaws visible.   Each wired for electricity. The wiring has not been tested or inspected.  Rubbing to the gilt decoration visible. Areas of touch-up to the gold paint throughout.  Few minor chips to the edges of the candlearms or drip pans. A few of the glass drops and beads are lost.  One of the brass caps at the base of one of the hurricane shades is cracked and will need to be soldered or cemented.
