The female mask on the frieze has a small chip in the tip of her nose, and the bird ornament in the middle of the stretcher has a chip from its beak. There is an area of wear to the brown finish on the inside of one of the pierce carved stretchers. The outside edge surrounding the marble top has an age crack on one side.
