A George III Mahogany Sideboard
Circa 1800
Height 36 1/2 x width 73 1/4 x depth 29 1/2 inches.
Property from the Carmen S. Holeman Trust, Indianapolis, Indiana
Condition
Sturdy, well-conserved condition with original color/finish and even polish. The right side of the top has several lightly faded areas. Plugged holes are visible on the back of the top where probably a brass gallery once was. There is a tight age crack forming in the right side of the top and a faint moisture mark or stain in the center of the top. The drawers open and close well. Slight veneer cracks forming on the cabinet doors. Comes with a key. Brasses are replaced.
