A Victorian Brass Cathedral-Form Skeleton Clock
Late 19th Century
the clock having a Roman numeral dial and triple fusee movement and striking eight bells on the quarter, half and full hour, and striking an hour gong coil on the hour, the clock on an alabaster base with a presentation plaque reading "Presented to Captain W. S. Shepstone (Natal Carbiners) By His Brother Officers On The Occasion of His Marriage, April 17th, 1895".
Height overall 23 inches.

Height of clock (excluding plinth) 23 inches. Lacking a pendulum and winding key, but appears in otherwise good, stable, attractive condition. Works appear intact and function when clock is wound to quarter, half and full hour. Some scattered chips to base. No other significant condition issues noted.
