Condition
Overall sturdy and very attractive condition. 14 1/2-inch age crack on proper left side. 3/4-inch round knot on the serving surface. The top surface with several discolored and faded areas. The back boards, top surface, upper carved freeze, turned supports of the upper section and doors appear to be of 18th century construction. The upper frieze of the lower section, the sides, and many of the joining parts of the frame are likely 19th or early 20th century replacements. The iron hinges of the lower section's doors appear to be old. The upper section's doors swing open and inward freely, without anything stopping them at the right position. There is no key. Some heavier wear and lighter scuffs around the feet.
