Description
Yohji Yamamoto Utility Coat, Fall 2004

Following a brief interlude of color, Yohji Yamamoto returned to his domain of black garments for fall 2004. Among this collection was a suite of sophisticated tailoring, creatively reshaping peacoats and adding large leather pockets at the front, described by Vogue’s Sarah Mower as, “receptacles roomy enough to allow a woman to roam the world hands-free.”

Black wool utility style jacket with notched lapel and buckled neck strap, two large detachable leather pouch pockets, wide belted waist with silver-tone buckle, and front button closure.
