An Attic White-Ground Lekythos
Attributed to The Reed Painter, Circa 440-420 B.C.
Height 10 1/2 inches (27 cm).
Condition
The handle seemingly reattached at the base of the handle and the side of the base of the neck at the join. Some small patches of the body with possible fill. The white-ground yellowed in areas. Losses and flaking to sections of the white. Some of the shoulder decoration possibly enhanced.
