A French Gilt Bronze Cartel Clock
Late 19th Century
Height 19 1/4 x width 11 x depth 5 inches.
Condition
In overall good and stable condition. With pendulum, but lacking key. Both cylinders take a wind and hands can be advanced manually. The clock chimes when advanced manually. Pendulum starts, but stops swinging soon after. The movement has not been tested for time keeping accuracy. The dial has a small crack between numerals five and six. The gilt bronze in good condition, with areas of oxidation to the bronze, particularly in the recesses.
