Condition
Ships above face have a double-rocking action. Clock includes two weights and a pendulum; lacking case key or winding key. (Pendulum is currently packed in carboard and not photographed.) Works have not been inspected or tested for timekeeping accuracy. The hands can be manually advanced. On the hour, the works make a sound as though the hammer is attempting to strike the bell, but does not actually strike or chime. Areas of restoration and overpainting to the face. Scattered scuffs, marks and scratches to the case, as well as areas of lifting to the veneer and minor age splits. A roughly 3-inch crack is present to the glass in the hood door.
