each has elaborately carved openwork splat in the form of elongated, archaistic kui dragons, the curved arm rails with further archaistic kui dragons, the shaped aprons carved with square-form scrolls, the whole supported on legs of square section terminating in scroll-form feet and joined by thick stretchers above plain aprons.

Each in overall decent condition, showing surface marks, scratches and indentations consistent with use and age. One example with heavier wear and loss to the mat, the sprandrel to the front loose (but retained), resulting in a slight wobble when rocked. The other sturdy.
