Condition
The fish plates are in overall very good condition, exhibting various fish scenes to the face of each. The painted scenes have a slightly raised texture. The plates having very minimal surface marks along gilt rims, few examples with very minor instances of wear or loss to the paint. Very light shelfwear to footrim of each, one with a fleabite therealong. Several examples have scattered marks of yellow coloring to the reverse, possibly from paint in the production process, not a condition issue. Few examples with minor firing pits. Each stamped D&Co/France and signed L. Hochwalt to the underside.
