The Wedding Procession [Berg 1-10] classified as "Scarce" by Berg (top hinge of case slightly loose). The case contains a half plate tintype of a couple, presumably a bride and groom on their wedding day. The young woman wears a long white gown (very good overall, small spot near lower left corner of plate, visible on the gown). Lower margin of plate includes Neff's patent imprint. -- The Wedding Procession [Berg 1-10] classified as "Scarce" by Berg (chipping to edges). The case contains 2 half plate ambrotypes, including a ruby ambrotype of a gentleman and a clear glass ambrotype of a young woman (some discoloration to plate). -- The Holy Family [Berg 1-8] classified as "Very Rare" by Berg (minor area of discoloration on cover). The case contains a half plate ambrotype of an aged man.
Together, 3 half plate Union cases in generally good condition unless otherwise noted, containing half plate images in good to very good condition overall.
