Consisting of a carved figure with bicolor gold mounts and snake, containing round brilliant cut diamonds, oval and round mixed cut emeralds and round faceted rubies. 3 X 1 1/4 inches.

Nardi Gioielleria, founded in Venice in 1926, is now run by the third generation of the Nardi family. Well known for its finely crafted, primarily one-of-a-kind, Moorish heads, depicting carved sardonyx or ebony-faced princes, in gold robes and richly decorated turbans, whose symbolism is derived from 18th century Orientalist paintings.
