**Post War Smith & Wesson K-22 Masterpiece (Pre-Model 17)
.22 LR. 6" barrel length. SN: K66468. Blued metal finish with casehardened trigger and case colored hammer mounting Smith & Wesson medallion walnut grips with boxed diamond checkering pattern. Double action hand ejector six-shot revolver mounting adjustable target rear and Patridge front blade sights with a matted and fluted barrel rib. Item built on a five screw frame with a pinned barrel and recessed cylinder. Revolver shows the standard make and model markings including Smith & Wesson's monogram trademark to the sideplate. Serial numbers match on the cylinder, barrel, and star extractor.

Condition
Good. Bore is Minty with sharp rifling throughout. Blued finish shows a drag line to the cylinder, some light abrasions at the muzzle, and brown flecking on the front triggerguard. Some further light flecking on the cylinder over two chambers. Vibrant hammer colors suggest this piece has been refinished. One of the cylinder alignment pins is missing. Grips retain fine details to the medallions with light handling wear. Action shows good timing.
