Westley Richards & Co. London 10 Gauge Side by Side with Anson & Deeley Lock
10 gauge. 32" barrels. SN: C5779. Bare finish, most likely blued and case hardened. Two piece walnut stock has four point checkering to round knob Prince of Wales grip and splinter forearm, with checkering to side panels as well. Break action side by side hammerless boxlock shotgun with a smooth concave rib and steel bead front sight. Item features double triggers, extractors, blank silver escutcheon to bottom edge, and a checkered horn buttplate. Frame is engraved with foliate scroll and bouquets, as well as floral border work and rosette screws. Rib is marked WESTLEY RICHARDS & Co. LONDON.

Condition
Good to fine. Bores are bright, with scattered pitting and recesses. There is a bulge in right barrel toward muzzle, along with several other small dents to both barrels. Finish has mostly worn bare overall, with scattered clusters of pitting and light scratches. Stock is in good condition, with scattered scratches and mars. Top lever is slightly left of center. Action is functional.
