Colt Black Powder Series Fluted 1860 Army

.44 Caliber. 8" barrel length. SN: 208951. Blued metal finish with casehardened frame, loading lever, and hammer mounting one piece smooth walnut grips. Single action six-shot percussion revolver with fluted cylinder and round barrel with frame cut for mounting a shoulder stock. Sights consist of a hammer notch and German Silver front blade sight. Markings include three line COLTS/PATENT/U.S. to the left frame and 44 CAL to the left triggerguard. Top of the barrel is marked in a single line -ADDRESS COL. SAML COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA-. Patent marking on the cylinder reads PAT. SEPT. 10th 1850. Comes in a black cardboard box with standard Colt manufacturer markings. Included in the box are the owner's manual and black powder shooter flyer.

Condition
Very Good to Excellent. Bore is Minty with sharp rifling throughout. Metal finish shows few signs of handling. Triggerguard shows scattered tarnish overall. Grips show some scuffs and discolorations on the left side and along the backstrap. Edges of the box are frayed with some scuffs and scratches overall. Action shows good timing.
