*Smith & Wesson Model 52-2 with Barrel Weight

.38 Special Mid-Range. 5" barrel length. SN: A487916. Blued metal finish with finish transitioning to plumb on the slide, and mounting checkered wood Smith & Wesson medallion grips. Single-action short-recoil operated autoloading pistol fed by detachable single-stack magazines. Item features adjustable target rear notch and front Patridge sights, a slide mounted safety, and mounts a SMITH & WESSON marked weight attached to the forward frame rails. Backstrap is knurled, and the front strap and trigger both feature grip serrations. Item features a removable barrel bushing. The left slide is marked SMITH & WESSON followed by the four-line address marking. The Smith & Wesson trademark appears on the right frame, and the model marking MODEL 52-2 to the left below the serial number. Pistol mounts an adjustable trigger, and comes with one blued magazine.

Very Good. Bore is Minty with sharp rifling throughout. Metal finish displays some faint internal cycling wear, light edgewear, and some brown patina flecking on the underside of the grip spur and along the backstrap. Grip panels show some tarnish on the medallions, and some flaking of the finish in spots. Some old glue residue surrounding the grip screw heads. The magazine release knurling is worn down on the rear edge. Magazine displays insertion wear.
