.41 Magnum. 4" barrel length. SN: N705891. Blued metal finish with casehardened hammer and trigger mounting Smith & Wesson medallion walnut grips. Double action hand ejector six-shot revolver mounting adjustable target rear and matted front ramp sights. Item features a pinned barrel and recessed cylinder on a three screw frame. Revolver mounts a wide hammer and trigger. Standard make and model markings applied overall with the inner frame showing a MOD. 57 mark without dashes below the serial number.

Condition
Very Good. Bore is Bright with some firing residues that should clean to Very Bright or better with sharp rifling throughout. Metal finish shows a faint drag line to the cylinder and an abrasion to the left muzzle that has not penetrated the bluing. Some further scattered light scratches. Hammer and trigger retain their case colors with some operating mars but strong colors over the handling surfaces. Spot of red color beneath the spur. Grips show a scratch to the left thumb rest, an abrasion o the rear edge of the butt, and some scoffs over the butt. Action exhibits good timing.
