the Buddha figure cast seated in dhyanasana on a double lotus base, his left hand in dhyanamura and his right hand extended in varadamudra, dressed in drape robes, his face bearing a subtle smile flanked by a pair of elongated earlobes, all hair in tight knots topped with an ushnisha, further raised on a carved wood 'lotus' stand.
Height 14 3/4 in., 37.5 cm.
Condition
Overall stable condition, oxidation and encrustation throughout the body. Losses of bronze. Two large chips to the base.
