Two Japanese Carved Lacquer Inros
Meiji Period
the first a black lacquer three-tier example, carved to show scholars in a rocky landscape set above a diaper ground, together with a similar decorated netsuke and a metal ojime; the second a red lacquer four-tier example depicting figures above a rushing river, together with a coral ojime.
