A Pair of English Painted Tole Tea Canisters

with Chinoiserie decoration.
Height 16 1/2 x diameter 10 inches.
This lot is located in Chicago.
Condition
In overall good, stable, and ready to place condition. Moderate craquelure across surface, and paint has chipped throughout, consistent with age and use. White residue has settled into the cracks in the paint on either side of each scene. Small scattered dents along the raised edges of the top form. Yellow paint has faded on both lids, one more significantly than the other. Additional images available upon request.
