12 pinback buttons, approx. 2 1/4 in. diameter and smaller, including: 4 promoting DuBois clubs and featuring peace symbols and/or slogans including "Geneva Not Genocide," "Jobs Not Guns," and "Peace Jobs Freedom." -- 3 National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) pinbacks including 2 "Member" pins from 1969 and one from 1948. -- 2 pinbacks promoting the Black Student Union. -- One Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) pinback promoting Operation Breadbasket with slogan "Feed The Hungry!" at center. -- One Congress of Racial Equality (CORE) pinback featuring an illustration of a torch at center surrounded by large text reading, "Freedom Now." -- And one pinback badge from the 3rd Annual Congress of the Negro Civic League in Lancaster, PA from 28-29 October 1919, featuring peach and olive green ribbons.

Together, 12 pinback buttons. Condition generally fair, with toning, occasional soiling, and wear consistent with age and use.
