In generally good overall condition; the relined canvas with some uneven/residual varnish along with areas of the canvas that exhibit some ‘skinning’ where the painting appears to show overcleaning. Some soiling present throughout the work, most notable in areas of builtup paint. Craquelure present throughout the work. Under UV a heavy green varnish present in the foreground inhibits a thorough reading. Please see specialist photos for details.
