This bag was included in Sotheby's sale 2318, The Collections of the Duke & Duchess of Windsor, September 11-19, 1997. The bag retains the Sotheby's Tag.
Frame-top handbag in deep navy blue lizard skin with gold-tone hardware. Turn-lock closure with metal tab featuring engravings of the Duchess of Windsor's monogram royal insignia. Divided interior compartment; divider features a kiss-lock frame closure. Lined in blue lambskin and beige suede.

Condition
Condition:The overall condition is very good, in consideration of the vintage nature of the item. Slight loss of form to handles. Minor finish loss, some surface abrasions, and verdigris oxidation throughout gold-tone hardware. Light signs of use to lining.Everything is sold 'As Is’.
