one depicting a mermaid, the other a merman, each holding a cornucopia, one incised 'VS' to underside.
Height 13 x width 8 1/2 inches x depth 5 1/2 inches.
This lot is located in Chicago.
Condition
Both with losses and overpainting to gilding throughout. Merman intact with no cracks, chips, or missing elements. Mermaid with a chip in the front proper right foot of the base. The back of her sash is missing and there is a repaired break in the cornucopia above her head. The repair with visible cracks and overpainting. Additional images available upon request.
