3 men stand on a wooden bridge leading out to Terrapin Tower, a small lighthouse-like structure rising around 45 feet over the precipice of the Falls. The tower was built in 1833 and blown up only 40 years later, in 1873.

A rare view of a relatively short-lived structure at one of the world's most visited natural wonders.
