Condition
Width (open) 43 3/4 inches. In overall fair condition. Retaining a fair even refinished surface throughout. Scuffs, marks and scratches consistent with age and use. One leaf shows a patch through its length about one in from the rule joint. One foot previously cracked and reglued, but may be an early patch. The top secured with later L-brackets. Age cracks visible in areas throughout. The top and base do appear to be original to one another. Appears to retain the original hinges, though one has been repositioned due to patching of the corresponding drop-leaf. One swing-leg cracked and reglued at the junction with the swing-arm. The other edge of each leaf is previously cracked and reglued. The swing legs are slightly loose due to loosening of the swing-joint, with an associated patch at the bottom of one side where it joins the case.
