Very good. Blade moderately oxidized to a dull brownish-gray color with freckles of darker oxidation and discoloration. Guard with more oxidation and some freckles of light surface rust. Blade crisp and showing no additional sharpening. Grip solid, free of the usual longitudinal cracks and with scattered bumps, dings and mars. Scabbard with traces of the original bright blue, which has mostly flaked, dulled and faded and with some traces of old gold paint, probably from display in a VFW Hall or similar location.
