**1944 Dated Izhevsk M44 Mosin Nagant Carbine
7.62x54mmR. 20.2" barrel length. SN: AV7530 (Cyrillic). Blued metal finish with polished bolt mounting straight wrist Birchwood stock with full length upper handguard mounting sidefolding cruciform spike bayonet. Bolt-action internal magazine fed repeating rifle mounting adjustable tangent rear notch and post and globe front sights. Barrel shank is marked with Soviet {Sickle and Hammer} acceptance proof and {Arrow in Triangle} marking of the Izhevsk Arsenal in addition to a date of 1944. Serial numbers match on the barrel shank, magazine floorplate, bolt, and left butt.

Condition
Very Good. Bore is Bright with crisp rifling throughout. Metal finish shows some scattered light scratches, patina forming around forward barrel, and some mottled gray to brown patina forming on the bolt. Stock has some light dents to toe and comb of butt.
