**CMP Underwood U.S. M1 Carbine
.30 Carbine. 18" barrel length. SN: 6134152. Parkerized metal arsenal refinish overall in walnut low wood stock with four rivet handguard, type 3 barrel band, and type 2 rear sight. Short stroke piston driven semi automatic rifle with rotating bolt fed by detachable double stack magazines. Item features a rotary safety and a flat top bolt. Receiver displays the UNDERWOOD marking with a further {Ordnance Bomb} struck below the serial number. Forward barrel marked UNDERWOOD/4-44/{Ordnance Bomb}. P proof to the upper barrel, MMO to left barrel band, and Italian {Star/FAT/76} rearsenal marking to the left butt. Comes with a CMP certificate.

Condition
Good as Arsenal Refinished. Bore is Bright with worn rifling and some scattered pits. Metal finish is strong with some edgewear on the triggerguard and bolt handle. Pitting to the forward barrel that has been filled in with refinish. Butt shows some further pitting with traces of brown patina forming. Stock has scattered light dents, scuffs, and a splice to the right butt. Muzzle erosion reading of 2 and throat of less than 1.
