**Smith & Wesson Second Model Ladysmith .22 Hand-Ejector with Pearl Grips

.22 Long. 3" barrel length. SN: 5962. Nickel plated refinish with case colored hammer and trigger mounting Smith & Wesson medallion pearl grips. Double action seven-shot hand ejector revolver featuring fixed half moon front blade and topstrap rear notch sights. Item features a pinned barrel and four screw frame. Top of the barrel is struck with two line address and patent mark reading SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD MASS. U.S.A./PAT'D OCT. 24. 1899. AUG. 14. 1900. OCT. 8. 1901. Left frame struck with small Smith & Wesson monogram trade mark.

Condition
Fair to Good as refinished. Bore is dirty with firing residues that should clean to Bright with crisp rifling throughout. Metal finish shows worn down markings indicative of the refinish with some nicks and losses to the edges. Item displays some scuffs and scratches overall. Hammer and trigger display brown patina. Grips with some tarnish to medallions and light scratches and yellowing. Action times and indexes but fails to consistently achieve full lockup.
