**Rebuilt M1 Garand Rifle

World War II

.30-06. 24" barrel. SN: 471254 (mfg. ca. January 1942). Parkerized finish, walnut stock. Semi-automatic gas operated battle rifle with aperture adjustable rear sight, blade front sight, sling swivels and bayonet lug. Standard Springfield Arsenal receiver markings, barrel marked 1-S-A-7-43. Rifle has been rebuilt, operating rod has the radius cut. Chamber erosion measures 1, muzzle erosion measures 1.5. Rifle is accompanied by an OD green web sling.

Condition
Very good as rebuilt. Bore partly bright with some oxidation and strong rifling. Markings in metal clear, no markings noted in wood. Mechanically functional action. Wood likely replaced during rebuild, shows some scattered bumps, dings and mars.
