Framed: 41 x 33 1/2 inches.Moderate deposits of surface dirt and dust; canvas is not lined and is moderately distorted along the edges and corners; craquelures scattered throughout, with instances of tenting paint in areas; three small areas of inpainting visible under normal viewing conditions along the center right edge; very small paint losses scattered along the upper edge; under a highly reflective, glossy varnish. Under UV light: varnish prohibits viewing of possible older restoration; the aforementioned areas of inpainting along the right edge fluoresce; selective varnish cleaning around all the figures; possible overpaint within the dark area in the upper left corner and extending into the space between the two central figures.
