A Large Nova Totius Terrarum Orbis Tabula Map on Linen
Early to Mid 20th Century
After the 17th Century original, comprised of 32 panels on linen backing in a parcel gilt carved mahogany frame with gold matting.
Actual: height 52 x width 78 1/2 inches.
Frame: height 69 x width 96 inches.

Condition
The map is in overall very good, ready-to-place condition and appears to be free of major flaws such as rips/tears. The linen-backed map is floating on a painted gilt "matte" or panel which is framed in a large parcel gilt mahogany frame which is in excellent structural condition. The glass is free of breaks/chips.
