Condition
Both commodes are in sound structual condition retaining their elaborate marquetry inlay which presents some evidence of professional restoration. The elaborate veneers are secure and present only minor expected age splitting in some areas and no evidence of active lifting. The top surfaces in particular retain minor surface scratches to their gloss finish with the chests overall displaying only very minor expected scuffs/scratches commensurate with age. All drawers slide easily and the pair retain 2 working keys.
