Property from the Collection of Linda and Howard Graham from a Linda Floyd Designed Interior, Monte Sereno, California
Provenance
Provenance:Argenteus Ltd., LondonNote:The Graham residence in Monte Sereno, California represents years of collaboration between Linda Graham and Interior Designer Linda Floyd. Together, Floyd and Graham scoured the world for fine European furniture and custom contemporary items. Taking trips to London, New York, Los Angeles and nearby San Francisco, the duo worked in tandem; building a lasting friendship through their love of “the hunt” for the next great item of beauty and quality. Linda Graham was never content with one project at a time. She devoted herself to numerous organizations including the Junior League of San Jose, the Santa Clara University Board of Fellows and Saint Francis High School in neighboring Mountain View, California. Her residence in Monte Sereno was regularly the site of gatherings and parties with family, friends and colleagues. Using “classical styling, contemporary comfort, pride of craftsmanship and an uncompromising attention to detail,” to quote from Linda Floyd’s design philosophy, the two united their shared love of fine objects, luxurious upholstery and an understanding of subtle elegance to create a stunning and livable interior. The collection offered by Freeman’s | Hindman reflects this partnership, friendship and passion for collecting.
