Condition
Each in sturdy, usable condition; can be comfortably sat upon. Old scuffs, inactive worming, and minor repairs to the framework. One chair appears to have had both its back legs replaced in the 19th or 20th century. The same chair has modern screws reinforcing the proper-left front leg. The other chair's proper-left front leg is partially rebuilt, and its proper-left back leg appears to be a replacement. The seats appear retain old stuffing and webbing; they have not been sprung. The upholstery is faded and lightly fraying in some areas.
