Appearing in overall fairly good, sturdy, and ready to place condition. Scattered instances of lifting to the veneer, most visible on the top surface, and a few small areas of loss to the veneer. Minor age splits. Nicks, scuffs, and scrapes throughout consistent with age, use, and moving. Marks to the desk surface, possibly the result of contact with humidity. Some sun fading. The upper cabinet doors are slightly warped. There is a key which works in this lock but the lock does not latch easily. The same key works in the drawer in the lower section of the desk. The felted writing surface has a horizontal split throughout the middle. Porcelain plaques are intact and there are no apparent missing mounts. Additional images are available upon request.
