in the Antonine-Severan style, raised on a parcel-gilt wood pedestal.
Height of bust 29 x width 22 x depth 12 inches.
This lot is located in Chicago.
Condition
Roughness, discoloration, and surface dirt visible throughout, especially in textured areas such as the figure's hair and beard. There is one chipped leaf in the figure's laurel crown. One visible crack in the base of the socle. The pedestal with scuffs and scrapes to the surface. Height of pedestal 38 x diameter 12 3/4 inches. Additional images available upon request.
