Condition
Note:An accompanying calling card and note in one of the drawers attributes previous ownership or Mrs. Lyndon Bolton, Denwick House, Alnwick. Online records indicate she as wife of Brig. Lyndon Bolton who lived at Denwick House in the second-half of the 20th century. Appears in good, stable condition. Old scuffs, marks and scratches throughout consistent with age and use. One crack to glass on top center panel of proper right door. One other crack to glass on bottom left panel on proper left door. Small area of loss to top corner of fall-front, piece retained within drawers inside fall-front. Top of pediment on proper right side detached but retained. The veneer of front leg on proper left side of base detached but retained within bottom drawer. Hardware appears original. The fall-front door slightly warped, does not detract from functionality or aesthetic unless viewed from below. Age split to proper right side of fall-front. Additional images available upon request.
