Note:This finely cast iron shield features a central boss with a conical spike and detailed relief scenes from the life of Julius Caesar, all rendered in matte black. The design is modeled after a Renaissance shield attributed to Benvenuto Cellini (Italian, 1500–1571). Marked "2837" on the verso.
