Factory Cartridge Alteration of a Remington New Model Pocket Revolver
.32RF. 3.5" octagonal barrel. SN: 13798. Blued finish, color casehardened hammer, smooth two-piece wood grips. Single action cartridge alteration revolver with spur trigger, grooved top strap rear sight, blade front sight and un-fluted five-chambered cylinder. Three line Remington address and patent information mark on barrel. Matching serial numbers on lower left of frame under grips, under barrel and weakly in pencil in both grips. Rear face of re-machined cylinder and back plate with matching mating numbers 464. The additional number 413 is also found on the back plate. {ANTIQUE}

Condition
Good. Bore fair, dark, dirty, rusted and pitted with visible rifling. Metal with traces of blue, mostly on the cylinder, and otherwise a dull smoky gray patina with some surface oxidation. Markings remain legible. Action is mechanically functional. Grips are very good with traces of finish and scattered bumps, dings and mars.
